The subject of this diploma thesis concerns problems connected with receivables at corporate enterprise. On the basis of results of performed analysis of the present state of receivables in the selected company, several measures are proposed to help improve weak points in the system of care for receivables in the company.

The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which focuses on defining the basic concepts that concern the issue. The analytical section shows the current state of the receivables management in the commercial bank and the draft part includes its own proposals for solutions to improve the current receivables management system.

The theme of the bachelor´s dissertation is an analysis of selected types of investment (structured) certificates and the recommendation work out for business management of their practical use in particular situations. The theoretical part of dissertation delimit basic concepts related to investment certificates. In an analytical part is the chois performing and the analysis of selected investment certificates, followed a comparison of investment certificates and the recommendation is suggesting for corporate management.

On the basis of results of performed analysis in the selected company was proposed how correctly from the point of accountancy treat receivables after the period of maturity in such a way to the statement of account of the company provides an accurate and fair view about the accounting object and the financial situation of the company.
